The Parents & Friends of Betar NSW was reconstituted in 2009 to provide financial, structural and educational support for the Betar youth movement in NSW. We have an active executive of 7 members, including past leaders of Betar and parents of current members.
What Are Our Aims?
Find and purchase a suitable home (Maon) for Betar NSW
Provide the financial infrastructure to maintain the Maon
Provide the financial infrastructureto maintain Betar's other assets such as car and library
Make sure that funding is available for the next Shaliach
Advocate for and protect the interests of Betar NSW
Provide manpower resource outside the capacity of Betar
Provide continuity across multiple generations of Betar leadership
Provide both a formal and an informal social framework for Bogrei Betar
Connect current members of Betar to previous generations of Betar members.
