All over the place, from our Twitter, Facebook, or even our radio, we are going to tell you guys some codes. When you find a code, all you have to do is copy it, go to the “Enter a Code” page and enter the code! You’ll get an email from us within a day to tell you if it’s valid or not (it’s only invalid when you’ve already submitted the same code, or if you entered a limited code that has expired). Each of these codes are worth points, and if you can find the most points before Fed Camp 2014, if you come on camp, there will be a MASSIVE surprise for you! Tell all your friends about the contest, as we need at least 20 people to be playing! Just don’t tell them the codes so that you can beat them!
What are Codes?
Codes can come in all shapes and sizes. For example, a code like “Betar 90th” could be worth 50 points! Codes are also case sensitive, meaning that you have to enter them in as you see them. If you enter “betar 90th” for example, you won’t get the points.
Where are codes going to be hidden?
Codes are going to be all over the place. They might get released on our Twitter, Facebook, Radio or other places. Sometimes, the codes will be a riddle that you have to solve, such as “When was Betar founded?” (Never ignore a coincidence. Unless, of course, you’re busy, in which case always ignore a coincidence), and the answer to the riddle will be a Code! Codes can also be hidden around the place too, including around the website, so make sure you look EXTRA hard for the codes! Usually, the harder a code is to find, the more points it will be worth.
What types of codes are there going to be?
There will be two main types of codes. Normal codes and limited codes. Normal codes will last forever, so if you have one, you can use it. Limited codes though will only last for a few people. For example, a limited code might be worth a lot, but you’ll have to be one of the fist 10 people to find it.
How do I know if I have a valid code?
If you have a valid code and you enter it into the “Enter a Code” page, a new section should pop up (see below). If this section doesn’t pop up, you don’t have a valid code.
I have another question that wasn’t here!
If you have any more questions about the contest, website or your code (including wrong email address, or you think you haven’t received the right amount of points within 24 hours), email contest@betar.org.au for further help! Good luck! Geronimo!
