Welcome to Machane Mishpacha!

Betar Melbourne is so happy to announce our 2021 summer camp, MACHANE MISHPACHA (meaning family)!

We have named our camp Machance Mishpacha as our two roshim are cousins, as well as the fact that we are all part of this beautiful Betar family that is continuing to grow.

Due to the challenging year we have had and the current restrictions still in place, our camp will be run as multiple day camps rather than an overnight camp. While it’s not what we’re used to, you can still expect the exact same ruach (spirit) and fun as you usually would on a Betar camp!

Camp for Juniors (grades 2-6) will be run over 4 days – on the 13th, 14th, 15th & 17th of January. Each day will be jam-packed with peulot (activities), games, outings and loads of time for your children to hang out with all of their friends!

Camp for Seniors (years 7-10) will be run on a similar timeline to the traditional federal camp, so will go for 8 days – 13th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 19th & 20th of January. Senior chanichim (participants) will have similar days to the juniors, including all of the exciting things we usually do on a fed camp!

Camp for year 11s and 12s will run on the 17th, 18th, 19th & 20th of January, with the opportunity to be leaders earlier in the week. These year levels will also have the opportunity to participate in Kinnus, which is our AGM that is usually held right after fed camp. More details to come soon!

Camp will not run on the 16th of January as it is Shabbat.

We look forward to making many new memories with all of our campers, old and new!

Finally, we are acting according to AZYC guidelines and government regulations, and will be  keeping our eyes open for any changes and updating you accordingly.

We can’t wait to see all your smiling faces very very soon,

Tel Chai!
