Welcome to Machane Mishpacha!

Betar Melbourne is so excited to announce our 2021 summer camp, MACHANE MISHPACHA (meaning family)!

We have named our camp Machance Mishpacha as our two roshim are cousins, but also due to the fact that we are all part of this beautiful Betar family that is continuing to grow and flourish.

We are thrilled to inform all of our campers, new and old, that Betar Summer Camp will be an overnight sleepaway camp run at a campsite. We will be following strict Covid-19 guidelines set in place by the campsite, Betar Melbourne, the AZYC and the DHHS and ensuring health & safety is upheld throughout the duration of camp.

Camp for Juniors (grades 2-6) will be run over 4 days – the 14-17th of January. Each day will be jam-packed with peulot (activities), games and down time for the chanichim (participants) to get to know each other.

Camp for Seniors (years 7-10) will be run on a similar timeline to the traditional federal camp, and will go for 7 days – from the 14-20th of January.

Camp for year 11s and 12s will run on the 17-20th of January, with the opportunity to be leaders earlier in the week. These year levels are also invited to Kinnus, which is our AGM that is usually held right after fed camp. More details to come soon!

We look forward to making many new memories with all of our campers, old and new, and cannot wait to see all of your smiling faces very very soon,

Tel Chai!
