Nothings more chill than Betar Winter Camp! Lior & Sivan are over the moon to present to you… Machane Kochav Nofel!!!!! If you are in grades 2-10, It was mitten in the stars that you’d join us for winter camp. So, make sure to keep July 1-5 free for a stellar time!

What to Bring
Participants will be expected to have enough clothing for the full extent of camp. If any items are forgotten we will do our best to accommodate however to avoid issues please ensure your children have everything they need when coming on camp.
Full Packing List- Sleeping bag
- Pillow, pillowcase and fitted sheet
- Pyjamas
- Clothes for every day (underwear, socks, pants, shorts)
- Shabbat clothes
- Dark Jeans/trousers (at least one pair is essential)
- Jumper/jacket
- Clothes to get dirty/messy in
- Kippah (optional)
- Betar Chultzah (if you don’t have one they are will be available for purchase for $35)
- Toiletries
- Towel/s
- Runners and closed shoes
- Torch
- Medication (if needed)
- Nuts or any products containing nuts are banned under Australian law, from all camps in Australia. Please check all food products before packing.
- Non-kosher animal products, including certain foods and lollies. Betar camps operate under a kosher-style policy and aim to provide a kosher-style environment for all chanichim (campers).
- Energy drinks such as V and Red Bull and chewing gum are not to be brought to, or consumed, during camp at all.
- Any person found in possession of the following may be asked to leave the campsite at their own expense with no refund: stink bombs, smoke bombs, cigarettes, alcohol, knives or weapons of any kind and illicit substances.
Please ensure that all snacks do not contain ingredients derived from non-kosher animals (e.g., pork-derived gelatin or shellfish). Any items containing non-kosher animal products will be confiscated.
Betar does not take responsibility for any loss or damage of personal items.
Cost
Early Bird (until May 1st) – $480
Standard (until June 10th) – $500
Late (until June 29th) – $520
Betar acts as a not-for-profit organisation and prices are kept as low as possible.
The treasurer will be in touch with all interstate attendants following camp signup.

Copies of these documents are also attached to the sign-up form. All forms must be completed IN FULL otherwise your child will not be allowed to attend camp. Please complete, sign, scan, and email to the roshim of camp wintercamp.qld@betar.org.au
